Hello, My name is Shauna. I was born and despite many near death experiences remain living. Not much else has happened besides that. Anyway, on to the stuff you actually want to hear about. I am a person who likes to take pictures. Lots of pictures. I even have one published in a catalog.
I started taking photographs when I was about sixteen and I really enjoyed it. I would like to go to School for photography if I can. I want to learn as much about it as possible. It's something that I really enjoy doing and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. Right now I'm even working on starting my own photography business. I know I'm not the best photographer in the world, nor do I have the best camera, but I do the best I can with what I have. and it works for me. I hope to pursue photography as a career. The goal is to end up working for National Geographic (although right now it seems like I'll never be good enough).

So you've found your way to my deviant art page have you? Well congratulations then. I hope I'm not too disappointing. I don't really plan on using my journal and since it's likely to be one of the first things you see when you find yourself here I thought it would be a good place to lay down ground rules and explain a few things.

The title of this journal was pretty much how I reacted when I found out that my uncle is sending me one of his old cameras. That and a little eye twitching followed by a fist pump and a happy dance. It's a pretty nice one too. Well nicer than the one I have at the moment anyway. My uncle is a rancher but in his spare time he does photography and he happens to be pretty darn good at it. I e-mailed him asking for advice and tips and he offered me one of his old cameras because he is getting a new one. I'm so excited! Finally things are starting to look up for me after months of having my life pretty much go down the toilet and years of depress

Hello any of you deviant art members who might see fit to read this. This is an excuse to use the one day premium membership and a cool journal skin that I really liked disguised as a journal entry. If you want me to actually put something meaningful in here then I guess that's too bad because I probably won't. Well happy late new year and epiphany and all that.
